About Me
Hello I’m Josie Malecha
Born and raised in Minnesota. Love the tropics of the Caribbean, and the beach, maybe I should have been born in Florida? Bright and colorful is my style and I believe it’s inspired by my vacations in the Caribbean.
I’m so glad you found my website. I am a mom of 3 kids and wife to a very supportive husband Doug without him this business would not be possible. I am a digital marketer and UX Designer by day and a mom and a photographer on my evenings and weekends. I lead a very active lifestyle running and biking with my family – but I can’t stop the love I have for my business Josie Malecha Photography.
I have always had a passion for art and design. I went to Graphic Design and have continued to pursue my passion for design and photography.
It’s so exciting for me to be able to share my creativity behind the camera with friends and new clients I get to meet through this journey.
I have been working on building Josie Malecha Photography for over ten years… during this time there has been much change in my style and in my equipment – I’m a very proud owner of a Canon 5D Mark iv– it was a new addition to my photography gear in 2017. I just love it and the quality I’m getting with my new camera body is amazing!!! I am a lifetime learner – so I have been taking ongoing online classes and reading everything I can get my hands on about photography – so that I never stop improving my skills.
What do I love about my business, and where do I start….I love capturing families and everyday emotions…I love working with friends…meeting new people…honestly – I love Photoshop and Lightroom – and spending time bringing the images I take to life. I can’t wait to help you create some beautiful artwork for your walls, and capture memories of your kids and families.
